The Consecrated Podcast

Jesus paid far too high a price for us to live a nominal life. The Consecrated Podcast is a journey led by siblings Biiftuu and Fedhii Gobena, whose hearts burn with a shared passion to awaken believers to the boundless, abundant life they were made for.

Too often, Christians settle for the familiar—a faith without depth, power, or freedom. But Jesus came that we might have life to the fullest, in all its richness and glory. It’s time for the Bride to awaken, to shake off apathy, and to step into the fullness of what Christ has already paid for.

Through honest conversations, biblical truth, and a call to wholehearted devotion, Biiftuu and Fedhii invite you to trade conformity for consecration. Each week, they dive into the sacred pilgrimage of walking intimately with Jesus, exploring what it means to live a life set apart—marked by the abundance of His presence.

Waiting on God

Friday Aug 15, 2025

Friday Aug 15, 2025

Waiting seasons are often misunderstood as idle or unproductive, but in this podcast, we reveal how they are actually incredibly fertile ground for growth and transformation. Walking hand in hand with the Good Gardener during these times, though little may change on the outside, gardens blossom within—deep roots of faith, character, and confidence take hold.
We dive into the story of Abraham and Sarah, showing how God cultivated something extraordinary in Abraham while he waited—a man who wasn’t born the father of faith but was shaped into one. Through patient surrender, Abraham grew strong enough to trust God with even the most precious promise, willing to offer Isaac back in obedience and love.
We also unpack David’s waiting season after being anointed king, a time that forged in him a bold confidence rooted in God’s heart and protection—giving him the courage to face Goliath with unwavering faith.
Our conversations challenge you to embrace your own waiting season, not with frustration or apathy, but with expectancy, knowing that the Good Gardener is cultivating a garden within you that will bloom in God’s perfect timing. Don’t grumble your way through your promise like the Israelites; lean in, and watch what God will do in the waiting.

Friday Aug 08, 2025

In this episode, we explore a deeply relatable part of the Christian walk — those seasons when God feels distant or silent. We unpack the truth that if Scripture is fully trustworthy, then the feeling of separation from God is not reality, but a distortion.
We talk about how easy it is to idolize the distance — to let the silence define our relationship with God — when in truth, we’re called to keep our eyes on Jesus, not on our feelings. This episode is a reminder to return to the cross, where Jesus' sacrifice forever closed the gap between us and God.
No matter how you feel, the truth remains: He is near and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Let this be an encouragement to trust Scripture over emotion.

Unforgiveness

Friday Aug 01, 2025

Friday Aug 01, 2025

In this powerful and soul-stirring episode, we dive deep into the heart of forgiveness. We unpack how unforgiveness isn’t just a relational barrier; it’s a spiritual blockade. Like a massive boulder damming up a river, unforgiveness halts the flow of our connection with God, keeping His grace and presence from reaching the deepest parts of our lives.
Through the lens of the parable of the unforgiving servant, we explore the sobering truth that when we withhold forgiveness from others, we're not just hurting them—we’re dishonoring the very forgiveness God has lavished upon us through the cross. The work of Jesus is a two-way flow: we receive mercy from heaven, and then we are called to pour that same mercy into the lives around us.
Unforgiveness is as if we remove God from His rightful place as Judge and insert ourselves instead, believing our judgment is more righteous, more just.
This episode is a heartfelt call to release, to surrender, and to trust God's justice and mercy more than our own. Forgiveness isn’t just for them—it’s for us. It restores the flow, heals the soul, and reconnects us to the heart of God.

Dying To Yourself: Part 2

Friday Jul 25, 2025

Friday Jul 25, 2025

In this second part of our two-part series, we dive deep into the truth that following Christ demands complete surrender—a full death to self. Not halfway. Not 75%. But fully. Drawing from Mark 8:35, we explore the hard, beautiful reality that true discipleship means laying down our desires, our comfort, and our control in full obedience to God—even when it hurts.
Obedience isn’t always convenient or easy. Sometimes, it requires us to do what we don’t want to do. But it’s in that sacrifice, in that surrender, where we find real life in Christ. We look to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, where we see His raw humanity—His sorrow, His anguish, and yet, His unwavering obedience. Even when the cross loomed ahead, Jesus chose the will of the Father over His own, becoming the ultimate model of what it means to die to self. As His followers, we are called to that same wholehearted devotion. This episode is a call to radical surrender—a reminder that the path to true life begins where we lay ours down.

Dying to Yourself: Part 1

Friday Jul 18, 2025

Friday Jul 18, 2025

In this powerful first installment of our two-part series "Dying to Yourself," we dive deep into another element of a life fully surrendered to Jesus. Following Him doesn’t just mean adjusting your behavior—it often means completely dismantling the unhealthy belief systems we've built our lives around.
In this episode, we talk about the uncomfortable but necessary process of letting go—of learning to “pack up the tent” and move when Jesus points to an area of our thinking that no longer serves us. Dying to these beliefs can feel like denying a piece of ourselves, but it’s through that surrender that we find true growth, healing, and freedom.
This is a raw and honest conversation about the beauty and cost of transformation, the invitation Jesus gives us to see things differently, and the daily choice to deny ourselves so that we can walk in truth.

Friday Jul 11, 2025

In this episode, we dive into the divine origin of community—tracing it all the way back to God Himself. Before humanity ever breathed a breath, relationship already existed. God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—were in perfect communion. Community isn’t a human idea; it’s a reflection of the very nature of God.
We talk about how the identity of each Person in the Trinity is deeply intertwined. The Father cannot be fully known apart from the Son, and the Son not apart from the Spirit. In the same way, we as followers of Christ were never meant to live isolated lives. We are designed to be known, supported, sharpened, and expressed through connection with others.
Just as a single part of the body cannot function on its own, we too are just one piece of a greater whole. This episode is a reminder that we reflect God best—not in solitude—but in the beautiful, messy, refining context of community.

The Frequency of God

Friday Jul 04, 2025

Friday Jul 04, 2025

In this episode, Fedhii dives deep into the mystery and beauty of hearing God’s voice. He draws a powerful parallel between the spiritual and natural realms, likening God’s voice to a frequency constantly being transmitted—like a radio station. Just because you're not tuned in doesn’t mean the station isn’t playing. The signal is there. The sound is active. The voice of God is alive and speaking—always.
But how do we hear it?
Fedhii challenges the common belief that “God doesn’t speak to me,” revealing it as one of the greatest lies that dulls our spiritual hearing. Instead, he urges us to tune our hearts—just like tuning a radio—to the divine frequency. It requires intentionality, clearing away the static of life, the lies, and the distractions. It’s not that God isn’t speaking; it’s that our dial is off.
Using vivid analogies from the physical world—sound waves, frequencies, radio signals—Fedhii paints a compelling picture of what it looks like to align ourselves with heaven’s voice. His words are a call to recalibrate, to believe again, and to step into the truth that we serve a God who still speaks and longs to be heard.
This isn’t just about hearing—it’s about relationship, clarity, and living life attuned to the voice of our Creator.

Fear of the Future

Friday Jun 27, 2025

Friday Jun 27, 2025

In this episode, we talk honestly about the fear that can come with thinking about the future. Biiftuu vulnerably shares her own story—how questions like “Where is my life going?” or “What will I become?” used to fill her with anxiety. But she also shares how the Lord met her in that fear and gently led her into freedom. Followers of Jesus aren’t called to be in control—we’ve surrendered the right to lead. And when we try to take that role back, we often invite fear, confusion, and unrest.
We also draw from the story of the Israelites in exile when God spoke those well-known words in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you…” These weren’t words spoken during a peaceful, thriving season—they were spoken in the middle of exile, in the midst of uncertainty and disappointment. Even when our surroundings feel like chaos, God’s plans are steady and secure.
This episode is a reminder that you don’t need to know every detail of the future when you’ve become well acquainted with the Person of Jesus. Trust isn’t built by knowing the plan—it’s built by knowing the One who holds it.

Friday Jun 20, 2025

In this episode, Fedhii explores the powerful truth that what we believe—whether healthy or unhealthy—deeply shapes our reality. Drawing from a personal story and the biblical account of the Roman centurion in Luke 7:1–10, he unpacks how our expectations of God influence our encounters with Him. When we show up with faith, our experience of God begins to mirror our belief in Him. It’s not just about theology—it’s about posture. This episode challenges listeners to examine the beliefs they carry and to lean into expectation, knowing that God often moves in response to faith-filled hearts.

Keeping Jesus as Homebase

Friday Jun 13, 2025

Friday Jun 13, 2025

In this episode, Fedhii dives into the vital truth that Jesus must remain our homebase. He reflects on how humans are naturally drawn to be mesmerized by something—but often, we chase after the wrong things.
Through a vivid and moving bike analogy, he paints a picture of what it looks like to keep Jesus at the center. One pedal is the truth that “God loves me and wants to be with me.” As that pedal turns, it awakens a response deep in our hearts: “I love God and I want to give Him everything.” Just like riding a bike, these two movements—God’s love and our response—work together to carry us forward in intimacy with Jesus.
This episode is a heartfelt call back to what truly matters. It’s a reminder that in a world full of distractions, Jesus is the only One worth being mesmerized by.
